Community-based ICF/IID group homes are provided with support care professional services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week in a supervised, home-like setting. These homes provide living arrangements in Morton, Meridian, Brandon, Pearl, Louisville, and Kosciusko and serve persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Professional staff including nurses, academic teachers, social workers, and vocational training instructors assist each person in reaching his or her maximum potential. A person centered plan is developed with the person, his/her family, and staff members to determine goals and objectives the person should work on and meet throughout the year. People are offered a range of opportunities to gain independence in areas of daily living and community involvement. All people receive day services and/or community employment.
